ASTM International tapped Richard P. Rosati, vice president of governmental affairs and industry standards at Bureau Veritas in Buffalo, N.Y., as chairman of Committee F15 on Consumer Products. Formed in 1973, F15 includes 56 technical committees that oversee more than 100 standards related to the safety of consumer products including playground and athletic equipment, pool safety, amusement rides, candles, and more.
